A pixel doesn't have a set size it's used as a device dependant. It can range from 72ppi (pixels per inch) to 2400ppi.

The size of a pixel differs. It is related to the physical size of the cell that gives the color in your screen. For example, consider 2 TVs, of the same size, one HD-ready (with 1366 * 768 pixels) and one FullHD (with 1920 * 1080 pixels).

That's because there's no fixed size for a pixel. It depends on the size of your screen and the resolution you have it set at. Pixels on a large screen at low resolution will be much larger than on a small screen at high resolution.
