Does your child's school provide things like scissors and crayons or do you have to buy them yourself?

In our school system the schools do not provide anything for the students. It is the responsibility of the parents to buy everything for their student. We are responsible for buying scissors, crayon, folders, tissues, and all the other stuff that they might need for the class room. Our school system doesn't even provide teachers with things.

We buy them, as does every school district surrounding ours.

My child's school offers the option of buying those supplies on your own or buying a school supply pack through the school for an average price. Scissors and crayons are offered in the pack, but are not offered for free.
