Does yogurt have cholesterol?

I like yogurt, but I'm supposed to be watching my cholesterol intake.

Milk-based yogurt has cholesterol, but soy-based yogurt doesn't. Look for "vegan" or "dairy free" on the label and you'll get a cholesterol free yogurt. Still, a cup of full-milk-fat only has about 30mg, so unless you eat a lot of yogurt it's not going to completely mess up your diet.

Yes, yogurt does have cholesterol. The level varies with the type of milk used to make the yogurt. Whole milk has 30mg/8oz, while skim has 5mg/8oz. Both are plain flavor.
