I personally do not think any hair really grows out of the relaxer. Your hair can grow and you can cut the damaged hair, but as far as the hair that is damaged actually becoming more healthy; it is not likely to happened. Hair that is chemically damaged is very hard to get back.

Once your existing hair has been chemically relaxed, it will not go back to it's original state. What a relaxer does is break chemical bonds in your hair and reform them to a new, weaker curl pattern. Any new hair growth, however, will still have your original curl pattern.

Relaxers never make the hair 100% straight so depending on the hair it might still be slighty wavy after a relaxer. As the hair grows, the regrowth will be what we call virgin hair and will be like the person's natural curl. Just needs a retouch.

Yes it does. A relaxer is a chemical treatment done to your hair - not to your scalp or the inside of your head where hair grows. So the treatment was only done on the hair you already had, and will not hold onto any new growth.

Wavy hair does not grow out the relaxer. The hair that is relaxed will remain relaxed but the new hair growing out will start to take on a life of its own. That is why you must have touch ups without reapplying the relaxer to the old hair repeatedly.

No, if you have naturally wavy hair and you relax your hair, it will grow out with your natural wave pattern and you will need to retouch the relaxer periodically (generally every four to eight weeks depending on how fast your hair grows. Most people do it every 4 weeks. )

Yes but it depends on the quality of relaxer. Some will take longet than others but all will eventually grow out

Yes it does. The roots can be relaxed using a straightener until it is time to have the relaxer applied again.

Yes, wavy hair can grow out the relaxer. A good quality relaxer if applied properly, the hair is maintained and can definitely be healthy. But your hair will be weaker than if it were natural and will be more prone to problems. Relaxers break the hair down. This causes the hair to straighten.
