Does the earth have two flat spots?

Please help me settle this argument with my husband.

Yes and no. The earth is not a perfect sphere, but a "oblate spheroid". Its rotation causes it to bulge out a bit at the equator and flatten a bit at the poles. The poles aren't completely flat, though - just less curved than the rest of the plante.

No, the Earth does not have any flat spots. Even those areas that appear flat to us are part of the curved surface of the planet. And no, there are no flat areas even at the North and South Poles. The world is a sphere, as are all the other ones in our solar system.
