Does my Chevy have a power steering pump?

It really depends on the year of the car. 1990 or newer will definately have one. Before that it depends on the make. The easiest way to tell is to turn the steering wheel while parked with the engine running. If you can turn the wheel easily it has power steering. If it takes some effort then it doesn't.

Well pretty much every car Chevrolet has made since probably the late 50's should have power assisted steering. So unless it was removed or ordered without it then it should have power steering.
