Does a pedal guitars have different tunings from ordinary guitar?

I need to learn pedal guitar as a backup.

A lot depends on the model. Most six string pedal guitars have a C6 tuning (low to high: C-E-G-A-C-E). If the pedal guitar has two necks, often the one farthest away from you will have an E9 tuning (low to high: E-G♯-B-C♯-E-G♯). However, some pedal guitars will have eight, twelve or fourteen strings, and the tunings change for those models.
