Question by  CrazyCatLady (31)

Do you have to take the ASVAB to get into the army?

How can I study?

The ASVAB is mandatory for joining any branch of the military. The test is more of a common sense test that you can not really study for. Study guides are available but my best advice is to think about your answers and take your time on the test. Ask your recruiter to take the practice test to help you prepare.

Yes, your scores depend on what MOS is available to you, along with other factors such as physical ability (some MOS's require you to be able to do things like lift a certain weight and so forth). A higher score means more options for you. There are study guides, check a library or book store for help.
