It is normal to miss those that we loved and have lost. Grief is not a mental illness, nor is it wrong. To help resolve grief, set aside time to feel the emotion and share it with friends and family.

It is completely natural and normal to grieve for a long time over the loss of a close loved one. The grief will likely lessen with time. Try to be active as much as possible.

Try talking to other people who have been in your situation: friends, family, or even a grief support group in your town.

It is going to be hard but you need to come to terms with your mothers death in order to get on with your life. Try to remember the good times you had with your mother and not her death. Do things that she liked to do with your children if you had any. Maybe you will feel better.

Keep in mind that grief after the passing is completely healthy and normal, and that everyone grieves differently. There is no standard time in which you should be "over it. " Turn to your friends, loved ones, and your faith. Also, you may want to look into joining a support group, and it might be wise to look for professional help.

The best thing to always do is talk to somebody about how you are feeling, if not a friend, than a professional. In addition, surround yourself with family and friends.
