It is not always necessary to use primer when painting. Painters in drier climates such as those found in Arizona and New Mexico rarely use primer for exterior painting. This really depends on the type of surface you are painting and the methods by which it is applied. Latex paints usually provide a good base if they are clean.

Primers are not always necessary when painting. If you are painting something such as drywall for the first time, then you would absolutely have to use it. They also help you cover stains and dark colors. It is best to use one coat of primer before a coat of paint.

You do not always have to use primer. It really depends on the surface to which the paint is being applied. In most cases, primer is a good idea.

Primer is always recommended before you apply the paint. This ensures that the new color will cover the old, no matter the color, only needing to apply a two(2) coat maximum.

No, you do not always need to use primer when painting. Primer is only necessary when bonding or rust might be an issue. Primer can also be used to cover dark colors, and help bright or dark colors achieve their color in less coats

It is best to use primer, especially if you are painting a lighter color on a darker colored wall. Now you have primer tinted the same color that you are going to paint the walls. This will make the paint show the exact color that you picked out. Also If you are sanding any areas primer should be used.

No not always. Primer works as a sealer and promotes adhesion on certain surfaces. It can help to smooth out a rough surface or help to make the paint stick to a very glossy one. When apply on typ of paint over another or another type a primer is used to stop bleeding or paint lifting.

Not always but it's sometimes easier to paint after a primer. Special when you change a color for much lighter than older one or for a new walls.

The answer would be yes if the surface is containing somewhat humidity. Moreover, the use of primer would ensure more shining with the help of less paint.
