Sometimes, it's a rare condition and there isn't much research done in the area. In general i'd say a 50/50 of it working. These types of health treatments are ambiguous at best, you should consult a physician before doing anything to "official" icy-hot pads are great, and fluids do as much as-the stereotype.

Once the treatment was mainly used by chiropractors, more doctors are treating lower back pain with spinal manipulations. This is only a short-term treatment, however.

Spinal manipulations will work occasionally to alleviate some spinal or referred pain caused by nerve root pinching or compression by vertebrae. However, spinal manipulations may also be very dangerous if not done correctly, make sure it is done by an experienced medical professional.

Oh very much. If you have problems with nerve pain it will eliminate those by taking the pressure off the nerve. Also it helps organs in the body by releasing nerve tension on that organ. It also helps with moods and headaches by correcting the nervous flow to the brain.
