Depends on the restaurant. Normally most do, and the only way you ever find those out is if you start working for the restaurant.

Like most any reputable business, a restaurant will have a mission statement. They can usually be found on the restaurant's website or in a corporate manual. If they do not have a mission statement listed on a website, you can try contacting the owner directly or getting ahold of their corporate office.

Depending on the size of the restaurant they may or may not have a mission statement. For example a small time restaurant might not, whereas a big chain restaurant like Olive Garden has one because they are owned by a larger corporation. You would find it on their finical statements.

Most restaurants have mission statements. You can figure out the exact statement from most likely the supervisor in charge, or the store manager himself. In general any respectable restaurant will have a mission statement that governs not only the customer service motto, but additionally the way that the employees are treated.
