The Mormon church does not own any stock in Pepsi. A list of all the people who owned stock in Pepsi would likely contain several Mormons, however.

This is a persistent rumor that needs some clarification. A lot depends on what you mean by "Mormons." The Mormon church does not own stock in Pepsi. However, many Mormons do own stock, and it is extremely likely that a least a few Mormons own some stock in Pepsi (or Coke or RC Cola). The church itself, though, does not.

It is a speculation that yes Mormans own stock in Pepsi. This is said to be true even though the religion is against caffeine. Apparently is not against their religion to own stock in something they do not believe in.

Mormons can have stock in Pepsi. This is especially true if owning a blue chip investment mutual fund that includes Pepsi. However, they cannot drink Pepsi that contains caffeine. Non-caffeinated is acceptable.

My best friend is Mormon. She drinks caffeinated coke everyday. She is not allowed to drink coffee or tea. She explained it as there is somethig about the tea leaf and coffee bean they are against. Not caffeine in general. She also eats chocolate.  add a comment

This is a common question, but no Mormons do not have stock in Pepsi. The Mormon church has never had stock in Pepsi. Their was a Mormon who owned a Pepsi bottling company but he sold it a long time ago.

There are many rumors that Mormons own stock both in Pepsi and Coca Cola. However, after research I am sure that some Mormons own stock in both. However as a religion they do not own any.

According to Mormon doctrine (offical church rules) the drinking of caffinated beveages is disallowed. Therefore I would reasonable believe that individual and the church as a whole would not be owners of Pepsi stock
