Do Jews proselytize?

Jews absolutely do not proselytize. Jews believe that Judaism is the only acceptable religion for Jews, but, as the Talmud puts it, "the righteous of all nations have a place in the world to come. " Judaism does accept sincere converts, but the process of conversion is not simple.

No. They did but at some point laws were enacted (by non-Jewish rulers) that prohibited Jews from proselytizing and they haven't done so since.

The Jewish religion forbids proslytizing. In fact it is a religion that discourages converts. As Jews are known in the bible as the chosen people, only born Jews are considered Jews. Converts must go through a rigorous process that is initiated on there own.

It's not true that only born Jews are considered Jews. Those that are not born Jewish but go through the conversion process are Jews too.  add a comment

Jewish people do not. In the religion it is not part of what is done, unlike some other religions. There is nothing in the Torah that supports doing so in Judaism.
