Yes, it is very rare in men, but both women and men can develop breast cancer. If the lump appeared suddenly, is discolored, or seems to be getting larger, you should probably check with a Doctor or Clinic. If you have had the lump your whole life, the next time you have a check-up, mention it to your Doctor.

As a population group, menopausal women were treated with Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) in the past. This stopped being standard proactice when studies showed a correlation between HRT and an increased incidence of breast cancer. The breast cancer rate dropped by 50% since the treatment was no longer used indiscriminately. I believe a similar fate could happen to a man.

Possibly, but any breast lump in a man OR woman needs to be checked out by a doctor. Many lumps will turn out to be harmess cysts or calcification (deposits of calcium)in the breast. But breast cancer in males, whilst relatively uncommon, does occur, so this should not be neglected.

Yes of course , and this is because men have non-functioning breast tissues around their nipples and these tissues respond to elevated levels of female hormones such as Prolactin and Estrogen which will lead to what is known as gynecomastia or even may lead to breast cancer ... many drugs can affect the level of those hormones and cause a lump ...
