Yes, I believe it can. When your teeth are out of alignment from an overbite, your jaw is forced to hold itself in an awkward position. Over a length of time, this may cause dislocation due to the pressure put on the hinges of your jaw and wear them down.

An overbite may be causing a condition known as TMJ. This would seem like the jaw is dislocated but actually it is just applying pressure to the jaw.

Yes, an overbite can cause a person's jaw to dislocate itself. I would reccommend seeing your local or family doctor to disscuss risks and what you can do about it. They might send you to a dental specialists also. Overbites can be easily solved with the use of braces like mechanism. It might take some time to get used to.

It should not be causing your jaw to be dislocated. There must be other underlying conditions. However an overbite can cause headaches, jaw pain and a condition known as TMJ.

It is unlikely that this is the case, but any tongue, face muscle, or jaw irregularities could result in slight dislocations. The joint of the jaw, however, requires a significant amount of force to dislocate, so the most that an overbite could do is probably aggravate a dislocated or painful jaw.

Yes overbite can cause that problem. Therefore, it is best to get braces or head gear to rectify the problem in a small amount of time. Overbite in the long run is not good.

NOt if the overbite is a ntural one if the jaw has been broken and that caused the over bite then yes it can cause dislocation. The best thing to do would be to go in and see your doctor they would be able to tell you right away what the problem is.
