Ofloxacin Ophthalmic can be used on cats. In fact, it is readily used as a treatment for eye infections in cats and dogs. Wrap your cat in a towel, hold one eye open and administer one-two drops, apply gentle pressure to eye corner, and gently wipe excess with warm rag.

Treatment with topical 1% voriconazole solution was successful in resolving the keratomycosis. So ofloxacin ophthalmic with 1% voriconazole is useful on cats --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You should never use a prescription on animal that is not given by your vet. Animals might react differently to medication then humans.

Ofloxacin ophthalmic solution is used to treat eye infection in dogs, but only use ofloxacin ophthalmic that has been prepared specifically for animals. The concentration required may be different and the human solution may contain extra chemicals unsuitable for cats. Always consult a vetinary professional before attempting to medicate your cat.

Whenever you want to give a cat something that isn't normally used for cats you should check with your vet. A vet might be able to recommend something else that is known to be safe on cats, or he might be able to give you an idea if ofloxacin ophthalmic is safe for use on cats.

I believe you can use that on both cats and gos. But the thing is it depends on your cats levels of health. So it may not be right for your cat.
