Can you troubleshoot my Kenmore fridge top that is too warm with the bottom too cold?

I can not regulate the temperature in my Kenmore refrigerator.

Sounds to me like you have a problem with airflow between the top and bottom. There are vents that let the cold air flow from one part to the other and you should check to make sure you don't have these vents blocked.

My friend had this same exact issue, and he said that there was a problem with his rotator fan inside the fridge. If the fan is broken, the air won't circulate and the heating/cooking is uneven.

Good thing with Kenmre is they are easy to troubleshoot and this sounds like a thermostat problem. Naturally heat rises and cold gravitates down. However for your top to be too warm and your bottom too cold is not normal. You can troubleshoot this first by changing the thermostat gauge so that top and bottom temperature don't conflict.

I'm not an expert but I would say that your thermostat and or condenser is out of whack. You need a new refrigerator or have the old one repaired.

I would make sure that my temperature settings are set correctly and that my good is staying cold enough. Or maybe you have too much food in the frig, and need to clean it out. Sorry to say, maybe you will have to call someone in to check out yourappliance. Is it an old one?

Take note of the location of the fridge. It must have a bit of leeway in the back to allow some air circulation. Shield the appliance form direct sunlight.
