Can you tell me where to find a Ford Mustang fuel filter location?

You can either visit your local licensed mechanic in your area or auto shop. Since I don't know where you are located. It might also be possible to visit your local wrecker and see if he has any fuel filters that match your Ford Mustang. Possibly you might consult your dealership as well.

It depends in which generation of Ford Mustang you need to replace the fuel filter. For 1994 to 2004 Mustangs, it is under the car above the rear differential. It is bolted to the underside of the floor pan.

It is in the gas tank you will have to either replace the gas tank or take it into the shop and see if there is something they can do to fix it I don't know of anyway that you can fix it yourself but you could call them and checkI am sure they could tell you.

Depending on what year the car is it could be located in one of three places. Carburated engine usually have the filter located inside the inlet on the carburetor. Fuel injected engine will usually have the filter located inline before the fuel pump or inside the tank.

Fuel filters on Mustangs are under the rear end, towards the passenger side. Look for the fuel line coming from the gas tank. If you remove the filter, be sure and relieve the gas pressure first, be ready for gas dribbling out, and don't let the lines collapse.

The fuel is located in most vehicles in the engine compartment, depending on the year of your vehicle the filter will be in a different area. Most mustangs will have the fuel filter towards the bottom of the vehicle towards the windshield. On the new models the filter is located right on top.

On a 1986 mustang it beneath the, car behind the rear axle, and tucked up against the gas tank. On a 1996 Mustang with a 3.8 , the fuel filter is located just above the rearend assy on the body on the car.
