An easement is the right to use property owned by another person. A non-exclusive easement means that more than one person may also use the easement, including the person who owns the land and anyone else specified in the agreement.

It means that others can use a portion of the property, like a driveway, based on a contract. Non-exclusive means that the easment is available to more than one party.
