If you want to become a certified or ordained pastor, you could attend a seminary that certifies pastors in your denomination. If you want to become certified faster, you could also get an ordination certificate from a web site.

The traditional route to becoming a pastor is to attend seminary, graduate, and become ordained in a church. Nowadays, many people are choosing to become ordained over the internet instead.

Becoming a certified pastor requires completing religious training with at least one denomination or church. The rules vary from religious group to religious group. It may require several months of classes to earning a four year degree at a religiously affiliated college. Decide what denomination you want to lead, then contact their church and request training.

For most Christian religions, you will need to go to seminary to be a "real" pastor, but you can usually get some sort of certification by searching online; however, not many churches will hire you simply based on this type of internet. You will also need alot of knowledge of the Bible and ability to speak publicly.

The best way to become a minister is to find another misister that you admire and allow him to mentor you and lead you through the process. Every church and denomination has a different process by which you can become a pastor. If you already have an affiliation with a specific denomination you can check with your local church.
