Can you replace the sewing machine foot control?

Mine is broken and I obviously do not want to buy a new machine.

You should contact the manufacturer to order the foot control. They might even sell it online depending on who the manufacturer is. If your sewing machine is old, you might not be able to find the part. Also, with an old machine, it might be more economical to get a new machine than replace the part.

yes ! But you can also get a much more reliable pedal for your machine for a smallish sum at most sewing machine repair shops. Last one I replaced was about $20, but that was a while ago.Singer pedals from that era have carbon disks in them. They can often be fixed yahoo group "wefixit" ).

It depends on the brand of sewing machine. Your best bet would be to find the owner's manual and contact the manufacturer. Some manufacturers make it very simple to purchase a new foot control, whereas others make it almost impossible to do.

Unfortunately I cannot replace the sewing machine foot control that you inquired about. Sewing machines are very obsolete and I suggest you look at an antique shop for further help with your problem. I also do not want to touch anything that has been battered and beaten down by your callous feet.
