Can you really find unlisted phone numbers if you pay for the search?

I am looking for a friend in Chicago but the home phone number is unlisted.

No its not possible to search for numbers which are not enlisted in your mobile phone. However u can enter it into the mobile by dialing it if you have written the phone number on a piece of paper or something. This way u can search for any mobile phone number u want.

I suggest to go to the Yellow Pages website and if the person is unlisted it will state so. There is a link to the site that Yellow Pages recommends which will cost if you choose to purchase their services. Prices will vary depending on the amount of information requested.

Just because your friend requested not have his/her number listed in the phone book, it doesn't mean that they didn't associate their name with their phone number elsewhere that could make it public knowledge. He/she would have provided their phone number on credit card applications, club memberships and so forth and search companies would be able to dig that up.

If it's an unlisted number then there will be no record to find. The only way to find out who it belongs to is to contact the phone company

There might be companies out there who could do this as they could personally send someone to go and check the phone number as you are paying them for this but if you don't even know the address, then you should confirm about this company from our friends or the internet.
