You should try to wear them out before you leave. Try taking him to a park, for a walk, and other activities. Hopefully, he will sleep most of the trip. Take plenty of toys and snacks.

First, I would get a portable DVD player, if you don't have one, it is worth buying one. You will use it everywhere. Also make sure you pack enough diapers, foods, formulas and any medicine you may need. You can always stop along the way and get this stuff, but prices will be much higher at the rest stops.

The biggest tip would be that you will need to stop frequently to give your baby a chance to stretch and be out of the car seat. Good luck!

When traveling with an infant there are a few things to remember. Stop on a regular basis to break up the trip. Keep safe toys at their disposal and finally stay calm. Your baby knows your mood if you are stressed they will be to.

Traveling with a nine month old is not hard to do at all, because they sleep most of the ride. Just make sure you have plenty of bottles and diapers.
