I have water retention in my legs, type 2 diabetes, low testoserone, producing estrogen and over weight. I cut my leg and it will not heal but it leaks water to the point of saturating my sock and shoes. Any help you can give to stop the leakage?

You really need to get in touch with your health provider. A cut that will not heal is not something to mess around with. Call for your own peace-of-mind.

Cuts and abrasions can be very dangerous for people with diabetes. It's important to seek medical attention for the injury, especially if it's not healing. Elevating the injured limb will help stop the leakage, but only a doctor will be able to help resolve the problem. In the long term reducing weight should help.

In my opinion, eliminate salt, sodium, and processed foods from your diet. Add Chia seeds to the diet to regulate insulin. Saw palmetto will increase testosterone. The above will also go a long way toward weight loss. Use Calamine lotion(zinc) for the open wound. Eliminate sugar and high frutose corn syrup from your diet also to loose weight.

Having low testosterone does not have anything to due with water retention. If you are having these symptoms you may have cellulites, then home remedies are not the way to go, you can get gangrene if do not seek proper wound treatment. That is not something to play around with, go see your doctor.

This is something that you need to take up with your doctor as soon as possible. A person with diabetes and has an open wound they are harder to heal and it sounds like you have a lot of water retention. you don't infection to set in, hope this helps.
