You can play movies on your Ipod if it has the video capabilities like the Ipod touch. You must have enough memory to put the movies on it and when you are done you can remove it from the Ipod and put a new movie on it. You can also put home movies on the Ipod as well.

Depends on the ipod. Todays ipods are most definitely capable of playing any movie you throw at it, as long as it is in the right format. The older models such as the mini and all the other ones that are in black and white can not play movies no matter what format.
