Pressure-treated wood is paintable, but it has to be cleaned (use a stiff bristle brush, soapy water and clear water rinse. Then dried thoroughly. After it has been properly prepared a good quality exterior acrylic latex house paint is the best choice for painting the pressure-treated wood on a deck.

I would not paint a pressure treated deck. It doesn't hold up well. What I would do is sand the rough parts. Get a good outdoor wood stain and use this stain instead of paint. It goes into the wood instead of laying on top of the wood. Then I would give it an outdoor sealer.

Yes you can. There is special paint or stain for outdoor wood projects that must be used. You will need to visit your local paint or home center and talk to a representative who can lead you in the right direction.

Pressure treated lumber can be painted. Just give it a cleaning beforehand and it should be fine. Just be sure to use a durable outdoor paint designed for wood.

you can but prep is very important. Wood must be thoroughly cleaned. Pressure treated wood bleeds so use a latex floor paint with an oil primer under it. It will not stop bleed but will slow it down.
