Get your battery checked and see if it is charged properly. Check the voltage first and if it is low recharge it and then check the voltage after a short run. If the battery holds charge for very little time, you should change it. Do your horns/lights work well?

Don't stop with the battery - get your alternator and the charging circuit also checked - a good battery is of no use if ain't getting charged when the car is running. Check your fuses, wires for anything that is blown or shorted.  add a comment

Most probably your alternator is not recharging the battery and causing a low voltage. There is a way of checking it - your mechanic will know. The belt may be worn and preventing the alternator from charging on your Buick Lesabre.

Are you sure you don't have a voltage problem in your car? If it comes on, there's usually a problem.

Well if you want to fix the colt light, you might need a replacement. You can uninstall it and see if wiring is correct. Usually that is the problem so readjust the wiring.

Once a dash board light starts malfunctioning especially on an older car like a 94 Buick Lesabre there are very few ways to inexpensively make them shut off. A quick fix you might consider is simply opening up the dash board and unscrewing the light bulb, else you'll need electronic work done.

Your voltage light is telling you that your electrical system is not charging correctly. Start by testing the alternator, battery and battery cables. Don't assume it's an alternator problem as it could be any item I've listed.
