I personally would go with Sony. All their products are of great quality and usually you won't have any problems with them.

There aren't a whole lot of options for CD players anymore, but a good option that still exists is a Phillips CD player that can be bought at walmart. They normally don't skip and are pretty sturdy if you drop them.

The Apple iPod is an excellent mp3 player for many reasons. I like it because it is easy to use, simple to buy songs from the iTunes system, and it comes preloaded with functions like a calendar, world clock, timer, and games. Apple also makes so many accessories for their iPods that it completely enhances the experience.

A good mp3 cd player is one that can read recorded disks and has various functions with quality sound. Other factors to determine quality are battery, weight etc.

I'm sure you have heard of the ipod now if you dont want to spend that much money. Then you can go with any one other brand and you'll get what you pay for.
