You should never give a pet human medication without the advice of a veterinarian. Tylenol, for example, is lethal for cats and dogs. If your cat is having an allergic reaction, your vet should be notified so that he can assess the situation and direct you as to how to treat the condition.

1mg per pound is safe in cats and dogs. It is an antihistamine and it works, It is safe. We have a dog and a cat with severe allergies and we were told to give them each 1mg per pound. 1tsp=12. 5mg liquid. so 12. 5 lbs gets 1tsp. Dose accordingly.

Benadrl is safe to give to your pet but I would talk to my vet to see what the correct dosage. I what also make sure that it is an allergic reaction the pet is having before you give her something because you could cause more harm. Hope this helps.

Yes, this is a human medication that can be given to cats and dogs to treat allergies. The dosage is 1-2mg per pound every 8 hours. It will cause drowsiness in your pet, so keep in the house while taking. Do not give any liquid form that may contain high levels of alcohol.
