Financial aid is usually given on the basis of need, and is determined by the annual salary of the primary car giver. Which means, how much money you make or your parents make, if you live with them, taken against the size of your family, determines your eligibility.

Oh yes you can. Most banks pay off debts on your behalf and you pay them later. This is a way of financing your obligations by pushing them to a later date.

No you cannot. You need to pay off the remaining money on the bill or you will not be eligible.

You can get financial aid for college if you have credit card debt or small student loans. If you already have student loans over $50,000, you may not qualify for student loans. But you can still qualify for academic scholarships.
