There are signing bonuses, which are determined by a variety of factors. Go to the USMC website and use the Locate A Recruiter button to contact a recruiter who can fill you in on all the details.

It depends. Signing bonuses are based on a number of criteria, all of which must be met. The bonuses are offered, too, for certain jobs within the military. Speak to a recruiter for details.

Most certainly no, on enlistment. The Marines do not have the money to spare and are generally looking for people that want to be Marines for pride, not money. However, the Marines do offer very lucrative re-enlistment bonuses for certain MOS's. The bigger bonuses are usually saved for the combat arms jobs.

In order to qualify for a signing bonus for any military branch, you need to score a total of 50 or above on the ASVAB test. If you don't score that high on the test, you will be disqualified for any signing bonus. Also, the Marines, have the lowest bonuses available because of their budget.

They offer bonuses if you sign up for a specific MO or enter at a certain time of the year. You should check with a recruiter to find out more.
