O'Doul's is non alcoholic, so it is fine to drink during pregnancy. It is the alcohol that causes birth defects by slowing down the development of the baby, not beer flavor.

No. Don't drink O'Doul's. Most people are under the assumption that it is completely alcohol free. However it is not. There is a small percentage of alcohol in the beer. The best way to prevent problems in your pregnancy is to avoid ALL alcohol.

Can you, yes. Should you, no. The baby does not need all the chemicals contained in those types of beverages.

It is fine to drink non-alcoholic beers in moderation during pregnancy. There is actually a very small amount of alcohol in NA beers, around. 4% (about the same as vinegar. ) Ordinary beer is most often around 4 to 5% alcohol, so one would need to consume 12 1/2 NA beers to reach the alcohol level of one alcoholic beer.

Try .4%. If it was 4%, or 5% then it would be a regular alcoholic beer! And for the record, ODoul's, Coors Non-alcoholic, Sutter Home FRE Wines all have .5% alcohol.  add a comment
