Divorce is a legal action to terminate marriage. You aren't married to your parents; there is no need for divorce. "Divorce my parents" is a joke often heard on tv.

If you have evidence of abuse or mistreatment you may be able to emancipate yourself at 16. Without evidence there is nothing you can do.

You can legally divorce your parents if you're under the age of 18 in most States but you need to hire a lawyer and have written proof of your reasoning.

I guess it depends on the state you live in but Drew Barrymore divorced her parents when she was 16 I remember that from the papers years ago.

Most children who want to "divorce" there parents are just going through teenage mood swings and aren't thinking. However, if you have a SERIOUS reason that you don't want to live with your parents you can get what is called an "Emancipation". You have to prove that you can live on your own and be able to financially support yourself.
