Can you define democrats, republicans and libertarians?

I would like to understand the differences between the three.

Democrats and Republicans refer respectively to supporters of the Democrat and Republican party. The Democrat party tends to be more liberal and supportive of government spending. The Republican party is more conservative and is opposed to government spending. Libertarians, however, are extremely liberal and are mainly concerned with rights.

Democrats are typically socially and fiscally liberal. Republicans are typically socially and fiscally conservative. Libertarians tend to advocate the free market as a solution to all issues.
