There are three types of hepatitis found commonly. Hepatitis A is not traceable by pathological test in saliva. If the person has Hepatitis B [Australia Antigen - HBsAg positive], it is detected in saliva, blood, urine and stool and is very dangerous and occasionally life threatening. This test is called HBsAg. Hepatitis C cases are rare and unimportant.

Hepatitis Type A spreads by fecal contamination, so it's possible that you can get it from saliva. Saliva and feces come from opposite ends of the same digestive system.

No you will not get hepatitis through saliva. Mode of transmission of hepatitis is different Its a water borne disease.
