Yes, it is possible to break your hand by punching a wall. However, this largely depends on the type of wall you were punching (e.g. brick, drywall, wood paneling). If you punched though drywall it is less likely. If you have trouble moving your hand call a doctor soon.

oh yeahh! i punched awall a year ago, and broke my wrist and 2 knuckles, it was so swollen and purple, dont do this at home

YES! I had a buddy who punched a wood wall in high school, the dummy. bones got messed up (all obviously out of place) and needed metal plates to put it back together.

Yes it is possible to do damage to your hand if you punched a wall. I know a guy who did this when we were in high school. You should have a doctor take a look at it and see whether you need a cast to heal properly.

yes it would be broken. Ive been doing this since friday i punched 2 tables and 3 different concret walls and they still havent broken and i have been hitting a wall in my room as hard as i could ive been in pain they look broken but only me.

i think people can break the walls if they are under certain situations you won't worry about the pain only the situation you are in

i punched some metal and i broke 3 fingers 2 knuckels and my wrist but i was ok around 3 weeks to a month and a half later so it can happen

if youre unable to move your ring finger and pinky without force, and hurts upon punching and is badly bruised, would the knuckle be broken or sprained. The day before i had what looked to be a knot on my hand..or bone.
