Can yorkiepoos be AKC registered?

I know that some hybrid dogs can not be registered.

It has been brought to my attention that any kind of mixed breed dog cannot be registered. The dog must be a purebred.

Due to the hybrid cross yorkiepoos cannot be AKC regisered. There are other organizations that will regiser the litter. Yorkiepoos will not be able to be AKC regiserted until their breed is excepted into th AKC breed list.

No, Yorkiepoos cannot be registered for conformation with the AKC, nor can any other mutt. You can however register them for certain events such as agility.

No, this isn't an AKC registered breed, but a mix, basically a mutt- and mutts are some of the finest dogs you can own! This is a mix of two very good breeds, each of which has a great deal to offer. They do have "breed" registries for this dog.

No mixed breed dogs can be registered with the AKC. The AKC is a club for purebred dogs, and yorkipoos are mutts. No hybrid dogs can be registered with a reputable breeding club.

They are slowly starting to become an official breed, so I assume in a few years it can. Though now you can register mutts for AKC competition so probably yes.
