Can there be Botchulism in soda?

Botulism is unlikely to occur in soda as it is too acidic. Food products such as canned peas, carrots,etc. are a likely candidate for Botulism. The bacteria responsible (Clostridium botulinum) simply cannot survive in acidic soda's

No, I don't believe there can be botchulism in soda. Some people think that there can, but I am not one. This is left up to personal beliefs and how you feel about the subject.

No there can not be Botchulism in soda. Drinking soda may cause an upset stomach but will not lead to botchulism.

It is a possibility, but it is very unlikely. The way the soda is prepared, and hygiene in the factory, keep the chances of botulism very low.
