If you are very far behind in payments then the bank can usually repossess the car. However most banks will give you multiple chances to set up payment arrangements. If you think it may be repossessed then contact the bank and work something out as soon as possibly.

The laws vary on where you are located, but most lenders do not have to tell you when, but will say it is possible when you are several payments behind.

yes they can take the car without giving you notice with if you are more than two months behind on payments the car can be repossesed ant that time the bank or the repoman will let you and local law inforcement know that they have the car in their possesion and how to get it back.

Yes in most states if payment isn't made. They send the repo man to come get it. Even at 2am when your sleeping. It's legal. So hide that car.
