Yes, milk can be frozen. Works better with 2% or skim due to the water content. Whole milk will freeze but needs shaking because the milk separates from the cream.

Milk can be physically frozen solid. However it is not as good as it was when it was frozen. The fats tend to settle out and separate from the other liquids.
