Tiger barbs are very aggressive, but they should be fine with parrot cichlids because of the size difference. When the cichlids get larger however, they could attack the barbs.

Yes sir you can. Tiger Barbs like to group together so I suggest adding them to the tank this way. Parrots are teritorial but will not bother the tiger barbs. I have several in a tank that includes several kinds of cichlids

I would not mix the fish as the cichlids are aggressive fish and will kill other less-aggressive ones. Different fish have different behaviors as humans do. Before setting up your aquarium with different fish, study up on different combinations of fish you can mix and take it from there. Keep water temperature lower to keep fish less aggressive.

If you mix tiger barbs with parrot cichlids, they may cohabit if the tank size is proper. But as tiger barbs are cute and very lively you would be better off, if tiger barbs are left alone in the tank

Yes. The Barbs and the Cichlids go fine together. Just make sure to get food that is appropriate for them both.

They can be mixed, if there are not a lot of fish already in your tank. But often times they will be come irritated with each other and some times aggressive because they are both very active fish. It is not recommended it you have a large variety of fish.
