The hardest part of caring for a climbing hydrangea is getting started. Choose well drained soil in a partially sunny spot with a lot of climbing area and be patient.

It needs to be planted in moist, well drained loamy soil. It grows well in dappled shade. Make sure that it is planted against something that can support its stems. Water it daily in summer.
