Yes but you will need a plug spanner or socket set. The only thing to be careful about is to make sure that the plug leads go back onto the correct plug - they are not interchangable! In spite of previous answers it should only take a few minutes per plug.

Yes, its not that hard... just make sure you get the right replacements. You may need a few basic tools, but that will depend on the make and model of your car.

Yes, you can but keep in mind that spark-plug work can be tedious. If this is your first time, plan 3 or 4 hours after engine cools (or 1 hour on several days), allowing 15 minutes per plug. It is harder than changing air filters, fixing flat tires, or starting a mower.

It may depend on what kind of car you have. I had a 1987 Alfa Romeo spider that I changed spark plugs on. I had a maintenance manual that I used because I had no clue about what to do. It explained what spark plugs I needed to use and what kind of tool to pull the plugs.

Spark plugs are very simple to change and usually require no tools beyond your own two hands. Simply remove the plugs and look for corosive build up. If present, throw away the old plugs and replace with new ones. Purchase plugs at any auto part store.
