Can horses get colic?

Colic- generic term for abdominal discomfort. Consult vet upon presentation. Treatment is often anti-spasmodics, hand walking, and administering oil via stomach tube. Very dangerous disorder, can kill quickly.

Yes. They can. The horse will start constantly rolling and trying to rub on things. If the horse is rolling all the time he may not shake when he's done. The belly may be really bloated too. When this happens call a Vet AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
