Can felons obtain Medicaid in California?

Felons are able to obtain medicaid in california. all they need to do is apply for consideration. laws in other states may prohibit them from getting any medicaid. the unfortunate part is that medicaid only offers limited services. if a felon has something really serious, he or she may not be covered.

If Federal laws prohibit fugitive felons and parole violators from receiving Medicaid payments, then the State of California follows and abides with this ruling.

There is no current restriction at this time. An application needs to be filled out for consideration. The name of California's "medicaid" is "medi-cal" and felons are eligible.

From what I have read. They can not obtain Medicaid. A person not being able to obtian it but each state is diiferent.
