It is okay to give dogs eggs as long as they do not eat an excessive amount. Too many eggs can cause diarrhea in some dog breeds.

Dogs can eat eggs, in fact my mother in law often cooks an egg in the microwave and then feeds it to her collie. It's best to feed them dog food, though.

I would give a hard boiled egg. I wouldn't give a raw egg ever. The egg is good for their coat it helps make it to shine and they look well when they have a shiny coat. Raw eggs never should be eaten by anything human or animals. Eggs will be rolled on the floor by the dog.

Dogs commonly eat eggs, and have no particular problems with them (unlike, for example, chocolate). Although eating them too much can result in high cholesterol, a condition that is as dangerous for dogs as it is for people, eggs in moderate quanitities are good for dogs. They especially help them to maintain healthy, shiny coats.

If the dog does not have an egg allergy, then yes, the dog can eat eggs safely. It is not recommended to feed the dog too many eggs as it is not recommended that humans eat too many eggs. To be sure, it is best to check with your veterinarian.
