Coffee is not ordinarily self-heating,but if you put instant coffee in a clear vessell and put it in sunlight,can get warm if it is hot enough outside.
Coffee cannot heat itself up. It can heat up the drinker perhaps and make you feel warmer especially on a cold day. Coffee is great first thing in the morning on a really cold day it really keeps you warm.
