It might be hard on your body. You can probably survive but you'll lack some vitamins and minerals from other sources.

Vegetables, especially raw vegetables are a great source of vitamins. Rice has very little nutritional value. Eating vegetables regularly would provide more vitamins than frequently taking multivitamins but eating poorly.

You can survive, but I doubt how long you would thrive. Our bodies need good amounts of vegetables as well as meats. What can be got from meats can't fully be gotten from vegetables, and vice versa. I support a balanced diet.

Lysiene is an amino acid that is not found in vegetables. Serious swelling of the tongue is one of the more dramatic symptoms of a lysiene deficiency. Do some research before starting your diet. It is possible to be vegan and healthy, but it's not as easy as you'd think.

Surviving on a rice and vegetable diet is not much of a problem. One will get enough carbohydrates for energy and vegetables will provide all the vitamins and minerals needed for body growth. One adds other items for variety to cater for the taste buds, but rice and vegetables will provide sufficient nutrients.

. Protein/amino acid deficiencies are the most common problem, as vegetable proteins tend to have less complete mix of amino acids than animal proteins. Nuts and legumes are good source of vegetable proteins.
