While all kittens are born with blue eyes, there are few breeds that have blue eyes as adults. Examples of blue-eyed cat breeds are the Siamese, Ragdoll, Birman, etc. Most other breeds of cats have eye colors such as green, yellowish-green and amber/gold once they reach maturity. The color change typically occurs between six weeks and three months of age.

Yes they can change color. All cat's when they are born have blue eyes. This changes as they get older until it settles on a set color such as green or yellow. Don't worry you're not going crazy and this is perfectly normal! I believe this happens with dogs as well as cats.

Kittens eyes always change color. They start out blue or blue-grey and we all get really psyched that we have these darling blue-eyed kits! However, as they mature, unless they are genetically blue-eyed, they will change to gold, green or brownish.

Like humans, most kittens are born with darkish/blueish eyes. The true color of your cat's eyes will certainly change over time. After about three weeks of age, your kitten's eyes will begin to change from their original dark color to the color the eyes will have as an adult, and that change continues until 3-4 months of age.
